Hello, my name is Dea!

I have always been passionate about animal welfare, driven by personal care rather than involvement with any organization or institution.

But my interest in animal communication started to develop in 2020 when one of my rescue cat Rui went missing. Thankfully, Rui was found and returned home. This experience then sparked my deep interest in animal communication as a way to strengthen bonds with my beloved animals as well as in general to be able to connect more deeply with animals and their needs.

Nurturing this newfound passion, I pursued the journey to become Professional Certified Animal Communicator Program from Nancy Windheart in 2021 (Nancy is a renowned and respected animal communication expert in the US) and I obtained a Professional Certification as an Animal Communicator Practitioner from Nancy Windheart in 2023.

I also trained as a Reiki practitioner under Nancy Windheart's guidance.

As the founder of Heads & Tales, I aim to share my knowledge and skills with fellow animal lovers, hoping to contribute to a more loving and close-knit animal lover community, and hope that this work will be a one step closer to realize my dream to contribute meaningfully to animal welfare- not just locally but globally.

I'm also open to volunteer work in this area, aiming to support causes close to my heart and hope to make a positive difference wherever I can.

I'm currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia.

How animal communication is being done and what to expect?

Animal communication is done telepathically, so your pet doesn’t need to be present during the consultation. However, I will need a photo of your animal and some basic information, such as their name, gender, and age, along with any other details relevant to your situation.

Think of me as a translator between you and your pet. My role is to facilitate a two-way conversation, helping you understand your animal’s point of view, feelings, and any relevant information that might clarify your concerns.

Availability:

I offer both online and in-person consultations (in the Greater Jakarta/ Jabodetabek area). Appointments must be booked in advance.

Response Time and Sharing the findings:

For online consultations, please allow one week from the time you provide the initial information to receive the results. I will share the messages from your animal primarily via Zoom or WhatsApp video call, and occasionally through written notes.

Urgent Cases:

For urgent situations like a missing pet, assistance depends on my availability. You can always check with me, and if I am not available, I will refer you to another animal communicator.

Additional Services:

I also offer Reiki (energy healing) both in-person and remotely to promote emotional and physical balance. However, this is not a substitute for veterinary care. If your animal is in pain or discomfort, please consult a veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment.

Ask for your perspective on the issue you need help with.

Request basic information about your animal: name, age, species, breed, and the history of the issue, as well as any previous actions taken.

Treat you and your animal with respect, maintaining confidentiality.

Answer questions about my process and clarify any uncertainties.

Remain neutral in conflicts, facilitating conversation and helping to negotiate solutions when appropriate.

Diagnose or treat medical issues or recommend treatments.

Predict the future.

Make decisions for you or tell you what to do.

Channel unrelated information.

Force your animal to do anything against their will.

Continue conversations from other animal communicators.

Take sides in disagreements with your pet.

Fix unresolvable situations where neither party is willing to make changes.

Work with an animal without the clear permission of their owner. For rescue animals, I need permission from the person responsible for their care until adoption.

What to prepare

At the beginning, I will ask for basic information and a photo of your animal to understand them better. Prepare specific questions you want to ask your pet, as they may not address your concerns unless prompted. The more precise your questions, the more detailed the information will be.

Approach the consultation with an open mind. If something doesn’t resonate or if you feel a disconnect, please let me know. This work is an art, not a science, and while not 100% accurate, most consultations include confirming details from your pet. Avoid asking questions you already know the answers to, as it doesn’t make good use of our time. If you feel confused at any point, let me know so we can delve deeper into your animal’s perspective.

Your full participation in the consultation is key to getting the most benefit out of it. It’s fine to be skeptical. I simply ask that you stay open and receptive to the process.
